Tequila Too on Evening Magazine
This short video is from one of our "Combo" trips.

We'd like to cast off by 530am if everyone is on the boat and ready to go.

Experience the thrilling raw power of a Big King Salmon on the end of your line, or the acrobatics of a fast-moving, high jumping Coho, is like no other!

As your line goes slack, wait for it .... wait..... wait... and "REEL! KEEP YOUR TIP UP!" Salmon will take nibbles and circle back and nibble, nibble. If you're one of those "JERKS" (one who jerks his line like he's on the Bass Fishing Network), your fish will move on to the next bait and you'll be standing there wondering, "What just happened?"

How We Salmon Fish on the Tequila Too

We will generally drift fish (mooch), rather than troll, as this allows you to work your bait and entice your fish to bite rather than letting the boat hook it trolling.  We will troll under certain conditions; however, be prepared to crank your bait to catch a fish.

We fish for a boat limit. You can keep fishing after you've caught your limit - until the boat limits. At the end of the day, you choose your two favorite/biggest fish.

Don't just stand there - follow that fish! When you have a fish on your line, you own the deck! People will duck, step back, and get out of the way as you do that salmon deck dance! What a great feeling! Just you and the salmon.

Remember, you're fighting for a fish...the fish is fighting for its life!  May the best fighter win!

Bring Your Own Gear, if you wish

Picture
You are welcome to bring your own gear. Light rods are great! At least 20-lb test is recommended. A good quality 25- or 30-test line is better, in case the fish runs along the bottom of the boat. Please, do not bring Spider Wire, Tuff Line, or other braided line as it cuts  other people's line and the tangles are near impossible to undo when a fish is involved.

Rod rental is included in the price, so you do not have to bring your own, if you don't want to.
