The Northwest winds we have had the last few days caused an upwelling of colder water that should help Salmon fishing next week. If they stick around we may do some day trips, check back for updates and check out the new BigUn pictures. (Tuna are not normally anywhere near where we Salmon fish so please don't expect to catch them. We do hope you can join us soon, there has been lots of room during the week.) ~Ken |

Greetings from Westport and the beginning of the 2005 Fishin Season. We got off on a Great Start Friday with great weather and limits of Rockfish and Lingcod for all including the Crew. The Biggest Ling weighed in at 20 Lbs 14 oz and was just 4 oz shy of the current Derby leader. Saturday we had a weather front start to come onshore, which slowed the Lingcod fishing down, we had 9 for 14 people and the largest was around 19 Lbs. We are seeing some Piggyback Lings and some have dropped off the Rockfish they were holding on to so the Big Uns are hungry. Hope you can join us for a day on the water soon. Look for some new pictures in a week or so. ~Ken |
